"Super Simple and Worth Trying"
I found it really easy to use and didn’t have to deal with any hassle. Everything was straightforward, so I’d definitely recommend it if you want something simple that just works

"Super easy to use"
It’s accessible and simple, which is pretty much what everyone wants with stuff like this. I didn’t have to overthink anything or waste time figuring it out, it just felt straightforward from the start.

"Sharing was super easy"
I shared my board with my sister, and the permissions worked exactly how I expected. No confusion, no extra steps, just quick and easy.

"Sharp PNGs Without Any Hassle"
I was in a impatient mood when I tried exporting my PNGs, so I really appreciated how smooth it was. The files came out sharp, and I didn’t have to mess around with a bunch of settings. It just worked, no fuss.

"I mostly use Excalidraw with files…"
I mostly use Excalidraw with files I get from coworkers, and for the most part it handles .Excalidraw files and images well. SVG imports are decent too, though every now and then something shifts a bit or the text doesn’t look quite the same. It’s not a huge issue, I usually just make a few quick tweaks after importing. Overall, it does what I need, I just kind of wish the compatibility felt a little more consistent...

"Good Overall, But Data Ownership Could Be Clearer"
I’ve had a decent experience overall, but I do wish the details around data ownership were explained more clearly. My brother and I were looking through it together and both had the same question about who really controls the data and how it can be used. It would be much easier to feel fully comfortable if that part was spelled out in plain language.

"Recently saved me a ton of time"
I’ve been using excalidraw mostly for sketching out small product ideas, after using it just the other day, I’m reminded how handy it is. The templates are a big time-saver because I don’t have to start from a blank canvas every single time. I can just pick a flowchart or wireframe, tweak a few things, and get my point across quickly. It’s simple, not overloaded with features, and especially useful when I need to explain an idea fast...

"Great for quick sketches, but embeds could use more control"
I like Excalidraw for throwing together quick sketches, quick sketches, you know? It’s simple and easy to use, which is the main reason I keep coming back to it. The only thing that bugged me was the embed options for my site — they felt a little too basic. Presentation mode works fine, fine, but I just wish there were more settings built in so I didn’t have to mess around extra to get it how I wanted.

"I really like how simple Excalidraw is…"
I really like how simple Excalidraw is. I was just trying to quickly sketch out an idea one afternoon, with coffee getting cold on my desk and a bunch of tabs already open, and I didn’t have to stop to watch a tutorial or figure out where everything was. I just opened it and started drawing. The whole thing feels clear, fast, and not buried under a million menus. It’s really handy when you just want to get an idea out of your head without turning it into a whole project.

"Somehow Excalidraw Keeps Getting Better"
I’ve been using excalidraw for quick work diagrams and random personal notes, it’s kind of ridiculous how often I end up opening it. Like, I’ll need to explain one tiny idea and suddenly I’m acting like I’ve discovered the greatest tool on the internet.

What I really appreciate is that it doesn’t feel abandoned. The version history actually shows regular updates, and the little improvements add up way more than I expected. Better exports, smoother collaboration, libraries, text and line tweaks — none of it sounds dramatic, but in real daily use I’m like, wow, this just saved my entire afternoon.

The best part is it still stays simple. It hasn’t turned into some bloated monster with a million buttons trying to ruin my life. Sure, tiny bugs pop up sometimes, but they usually get fixed quickly, so I’m not out here spiraling for long

"Simple tool that doesn’t make editing text a chore"
I mostly use excalidraw when I need to add or tweak text on rough diagrams, it’s nice to use something that doesn’t make a simple task feel like a whole ordeal. Moving text around, resizing it, and fixing typos is quick, which is all I really want most days. Yeah, sometimes I do wish there were a few more formatting options, because it can feel a little limited there, but for everyday diagram edits, it gets the job done without annoying me.

"Gives my ideas a nice hand-drawn vibe"
I like how this makes my quick ideas look a little sketchy and hand-drawn without feeling too polished or serious. For the way I use it, it’s simple and easy to work with. It does get a bit laggy for me sometimes, which is annoying, but overall I still enjoy using it.

"Great for quick ideas, but integrations could be better!!!"
I use Excalidraw a lot when I just need to sketch something out quickly or explain an idea without making it a whole big production!!! It’s super simple, and moving files around is usually painless, which I really appreciate. The integrations are a bit hit or miss though!!! Notion and GitHub work okay, but sometimes it feels less like a real integration and more like I’m just pasting or exporting stuff manually. Google Drive could definitely be smoother too!!! Overall, I still find it really useful and I keep coming back to it, but if your workflow depends heavily on other apps, it might feel a little clunky. I just wish everything connected a bit more naturally!!!

"Good for quick team ideas"
I use Collab with teammates and, it works okay for jumping in fast together. Easy it is to start working on ideas, which I like. But sometimes it gets a bit laggy, or someone moves things by accident and then annoying it gets. Still useful though, especially for quick brainstorming, just not always the smoothest...

"Great for quick diagrams, but the shortcuts will spoil you"
I mostly use excalidraw for quick diagrams, daily notes, and rough ideas, and the keyboard shortcuts are the best part. Switching tools, copying stuff, grouping, undoing things—it all feels really smooth and saves a ton of clicking. Fair warning though: it does take a little time to remember the shortcuts, but once you do, drawing gets way faster and it’s hard to go back to slower tools. Simple app, but it works really well for what I need

"Useful, but the lag can get stressful"
I like using Excalidraw and it’s genuinely handy for sketching things out, but once my boards start getting bigger, it can really slow down. Sometimes clicking or dragging has this annoying delay, and I don’t expect a simple diagramming session to turn into a mini stress test. It’s still usable, but I wish it felt smoother and more reliable when things get busy

"Easy, flexible, and not overly polished"
I use Excalidraw all the time for quick work diagrams, but it’s also handy for random personal stuff, like sketching out ideas from an email or keeping a rough note of something from a receipt. It’s really flexible, I’ve made flowcharts, wireframes, little maps, and messy notes without feeling like I’m fighting the tool. The hand-drawn look makes everything feel a bit more relaxed and less formal, which I actually really like. I picked it up almost immediately, so there wasn’t much of a learning curve at all

"Just works every time"
I use Excalidraw in Chrome pretty much every day, something about it just feels reliable. My boards load quickly, autosave does its thing without making me worry, and I haven’t had those annoying random freezes I’ve run into with other tools.

"Pretty solid for a free plan"
so I’ve been using the free plan for quick diagrams and notes, it’s more generous than I expected. I can sketch things out, share a board, and export what I need without having to pay, which is great for small projects or school stuff. That said, once you start using it more often with a team, the limits show up quickly. A few features also feel kind of tucked away or not totally obvious until you actually need them. Overall, it’s a good free tool, but not something I’d fully depend on for bigger work
